Inspired by a blind student of mine I decided to take up the challenge and play the Guitar Battle from Crossroads blindfolded - I had to practice it a couple of times, though.

Paganini 5th Caprice from the Crossroads Guitar Battle (1986) originally between Steve Vai and Ralph Macchio.

I play the Engl E650 Ritchie Blackmore Signature Amp and the Gibson Les Paul Supreme Model.

No dia 27/06/2015 me encontrei com minha maior influência na música e na guitarra, o melhor guitarrista de todos os tempos, Mr.Steve Vai.
Quero dizer que ainda estou em estado de choque pelo que aconteceu no sábado, de coração mesmo galera, foi algo surreal, de outro mundo, foi incrível ver o meu sonho se tornar realidade ali na minha frente. Nossa, só Deus para nos conceder momentos tão marcantes assim em nossas vidas mesmo, que felicidade.

Agradeço primeiramente ao meu Deus por essa realização, pois sem Ele nada disso seria possível, e segundo ao meu grande brother Luciano Alf, que abriu as portas para que esse sonho viesse a se tornar realidade. Muito obrigado Luciano, não tenho palavras para lhe agradecer, de verdade cara, a cada vez que penso no que aconteceu lá no evento eu caio em lagrimas, pois Deus sabe que esse sonho eu tinha a anos e nunca imaginei que poderia se realizar e ainda mais da forma que aconteceu. It was a slow Tuesday night gig at a local brewery. I was drinking unsweet tea with cranberry juice. There were only few people in the audience and I was doing my live looping improvisation show. One lady was cracking jokes in between songs and then she threw out the most unexpected request I've ever received. I usually don't include audience interactions in my videos but this was so rare and funny I just had to keep it in.

Although the live audience was less than five people the video has collected more views than I could have ever expected. Thank you everybody for your support and kind words! I will keep on making music and sharing it with you. Here's even a link to an article in Guitar World magazine about me!
